San Diego’s District 22 is comprised of 29 American Legion Post’s with a membership of nearly 8, 500 wartime veterans. We have 17 Squadrons of our Sons of The American Legion members, 18 Auxiliary Units, and 10 American Legion Riders Chapters. Each Post has it’s own unique profile and commitment to the American Legion’s 4 Pillars of service within their respective communities.
Baseball is a Program within the American Legion. In the 2019 Season American Legions Posts sponsored 22 Teams located at Base High Schools in the Community. Over 400 High School Athletes were able to compete in a summer baseball league with no cost to them.
American Legion looks forward to the opportunity to serving the over 100 high school baseball programs through providing an opportunity to pursue their passion in the summers at no expense to the players or their families.
